  7. HOW TO ORDER WhereIsIt?
  8. =======================
  9.  
  10. By installing WhereIsIt? on your system you indicate your agreement to
  11. the following terms:
  12.  
  13. You may give individual copies of the unregistered shareware version to your
  14. friends. You must preserve original .ZIP file and distribute it only by
  15. giving away this file. You may NOT in any way modify or disassemble this
  16. program, nor distribute such versions. Under no circumstances may this
  17. program be sold or lend by any other person as author himself.
  18.  
  19. WhereIsIt? is a shareware program. You may test the program out at no charge
  20. for an initial trial period of 14 days since the day of installation. If you
  21. want to continue using WhereIsIt? shareware edition after that period you
  22. must register. The registration fee is set to $39.95 USD and is payable in
  23. US dollars, or the equivalent in other accepted currency. You will receive
  24. the registration details that allow you to unlock the shareware version by
  25. e-mail - if you would like to receive the program and registration data by
  26. regular mail on a CD-ROM, please add $6.00 USD for shipping and handling to
  27. the price.

  29. You can register the program and send your registration fee in more than one 
  30. way. Most often used are credit card orders, but you can also order with a 
  31. corporate purchase order, wire the registration fee via bank transfer, or 
  32. send cash or personal check via regular mail. Please see below for details.

  34. When your registration form and fee have been received, you will get your
  35. own personalized registration data to register the shareware version and
  36. unlock it to its full capabilities. Unless requested otherwise in your order,
  37. this data will be sent to you by e-mail.

  40. REGISTRATION BENEFITS

  43. After receiving the license fee, each registered user in entitled to:

  45. - A personal registration code, to unlock current and all future releases of 
  46.   shareware version, available on the Internet. This way, you can always use 
  47.   the latest version of this program, and enjoy all new features.
  48. - Optional program delivery on a CD-ROM, including all add-ons such as
  49.   plugins, translations, help files, etc. for additional payment of $6.00 USD
  50.   shipping and handling.
  51. - Access to a free mailing list to be notified about program's latest news and
  52.   current development.
  53. - Free priority technical support via e-mail for a period of six months.

  55. Registration benefits can be suspended if registered user had violated
  56. license agreement, for example by distributing his personal registration
  57. data to other unlicensed users.

  59. The latest version of WhereIsIt? can be found on program's WWW Home Page 
  60. ( http://www.whereisit-soft.com ). As a registered user, your license will 
  61. be valid for all new versions of this software, allowing you to unlock new 
  62. shareware releases and use them to their full potential. If registration 
  63. details are changed between major versions, all registered users will 
  64. receive registration updates via e-mail, allowing them a free upgrade to
  65. the new major version as well. A request form is also available for registered
  66. users who have lost their license details and would like to receive a copy.

  69. TRY OUT THE BUILD-IN "HOW TO ORDER" WIZARD

  72. If you already have WhereIsIt? 2.00 or newer installed, you may want to try
  73. the built-in "How to Order" wizard to help you decide which is the best way 
  74. for you to register this program. The wizard will present and describe all 
  75. available options to you, let you choose the best options for your specific 
  76. case, and help you to either place the order online or to print out the 
  77. already filled order form based on your selections. Using this wizard does 
  78. not force you into any commitments until you actually place the order - you 
  79. can just run the wizard to learn about possible options, or print an order 
  80. form to send in later.

  86. PRICING AND CURRENCIES

  89. The base price for single WhereIsIt? license is defined in US Dollar currency, 
  90. and is $39.95 USD. When ordering multiple licenses or a site license, the 
  91. following prices are available:

  93. 1 - 4 licenses          =  base price     = $39.95 USD per license
  94. 5 - 10 licenses         =  10 % discount  = $35.95 USD per license
  95. 11 - 50 licenses        =  15 % discount  = $33.95 USD per license
  96. 51 - 100 licenses       =  25 % discount  = $29.95 USD per license
  97. more than 100 licenses  =  40 % discount  = $23.95 USD per license

  100. By default, ordered licenses are delivered by email. Shipping a CD-ROM, 
  101. containing your license, the latest version of the program, all plugins, 
  102. language files and other add-ons is also available, for additional $6.00 USD 
  103. shipping and handling fee. Expected delivery time is 10-14 days in Europe, and 
  104. 2-3 weeks overseas.

  107. Currencies

  110. Placing orders in USD currency is recommended. Payments in other currencies 
  111. are also available when placing an order through ShareIt!, as the equivalent 
  112. to the USD price by current exchange rates. ShareIt will provide the 
  113. appropriate daily price if currency other than USD is selected.

  131. All orders within EU member countries will be subject to VAT. VAT Tax may be 
  132. applicable if you are a private (non-corporate) customer in the European 
  133. Union, and you are placing your order through ShareIt. Corporate customers 
  134. providing a valid VAT ID number are not charged VAT by the ShareIt! system. 
  135. Corporate customers that do not specify a VAT ID number can also receive the 
  136. VAT paid back after the fact from their financial authorities). The

  165. There are two vendors available where you place your order for WhereIsIt, 
  166. usually - but not necessarily - using your credit card. This is by far the 
  167. fastest and most often used way to register WhereIsIt, and is recommended to 
  168. all customers as the first choice.

  170. Using ShareIt! is especially recommended to the European customers as they 
  171. have an European office based in Germany as well as USA-based one, and can 
  172. accept payments in both USD and Euro. ShareIt can accept all major CREDIT 
  173. CARDS used these days, including Eurocard/MasterCard, Visa, American 
  174. Express, and Diners Club - credit card orders can be placed online through a 
  175. secure, VeriSign certified site, or, if you prefer, sent by fax using a 
  176. special form. Also available are other forms of payment, such as BANK / WIRE 
  177. TRANSFERS, or sending CHECKS or CASH to the ShareIt! office.
